The Results Are In: Let’s Turn Data into Action!

For over 30 years, Positive Images has provided support, advocacy, and community for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals in Sonoma County. Now, after a year of in-depth research, we’re launching the findings from our countywide LGBTQIA2S+ needs assessment—and we want you to be part of the conversation!

📍 Where: Redwood Credit Union, Cleveland Ave Campus - Sonoma Community Room

          This report highlights the gaps in services and resources impacting queer and trans individuals in our community—critical issues that are often missing from broader data reports. We’ll share key findings and hear from an expert panel of community partners about how we can transform this data into meaningful change.

 

Featured Panelists:

🌟 Solicia Aguilar – Director at LGBTQ Connection Sonoma, a 2-Spirit individual deeply connected to Indigenous activism and LGBTQ advocacy in Sonoma County.

🌟 D’mitra Smith – Program Manager of the Sonoma County Black Therapy Fund from Sonoma County Black Forum, 2nd Vice President of Santa Rosa-Sonoma County NAACP, and Former Chair of the Sonoma County Commission on Human Rights.

🌟 Angie Dillon-Shore – Executive Director of First 5 Sonoma County, a queer woman serving on the Board of Directors for Positive Images, with a focus on supporting young children and their families in Sonoma County.

🌟 Lina Blanco – Communications and Cultural Strategist for the North Bay Organizing Project, a grassroots organization building power among working-class and communities of color in Sonoma County.
